– Credit policy: Developing and maintaining credit policies to ensure they align with the risk appetite of the business
– Credit portfolio management: Ensuring the credit portfolio management actions are aligned with the risk appetite and reflect the key risk characteristics of the portfolio
– Credit limit management: Managing credit limits for customers, including automations and ensuring compliance with regulations
– Credit underwriter supervision: Supervising a team of credit underwriters and providing guidelines
– Customer credit worthiness: Establishing customer credit worthiness through personal discussions
– Delinquency control: Controlling and containing front-end delinquencies by calling up customers
– Credit policy adherence: Ensuring adherence to credit policy and defined processes
– Portfolio quality maintenance: Maintaining portfolio quality and being responsible for collections and delinquency
– Audit compliance: Ensuring audit compliance and regulatory compliance for the assigned location or area
– Reference checks: Taking reference checks for prospective borrowers from market links and existing lenders
– Training programs: Coordinating for training programs for credit or sales team

Educational Background:
– MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Experience:
– Minimum 15+ years of experience in credit operations or risk management, with at least 10+ years in a leadership role in NBFCs or fintech companies handling unsecured loans
