Overview

Job Objective:

– To create robust MIS system, budgetary controls to enable to take decision for Groups business growth, to manage the accounts / finance team, guide them and get the accurate Audited accounts closed within reasonable time.

– Compliance with all Direct / Indirect and all other Rules and Regulations, To Check, Verify and authorize to Control expenses and maximize profits.

Key Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the Finance head to control and manage the financial operations of the Motwane Group.

– Prepare, review, and analyse monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements.

– Develop presentations for the Board and Review committees.

– Conduct financial analysis, business modelling, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making.

– Setup robust Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and perform variation analysis.

– Collaborate with external auditors and the Holding company to ensure accurate and timely reporting for Limited Reviews, Statutory audits, and other reporting requirements.

– Ensure timely statutory compliances for ROC, Direct taxes, Indirect taxes, Import, Export & DGFT Compliances.

– Develop and implement internal controls and monitor adherence to them.

– Assess current practices and procedures, recommending improvements to enhance financial operations.

– Provide early warning signals and better visibility into the critical metrics for various businesses.

– Work with cross-functional teams (CFT), bankers, consultants, and other external agencies to meet business needs.

– Manage fund flows, assist in working capital optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.

– Optimise cash flow by ensuring timely collections from debtors and prompt payment to creditors.

– Lead a team to monitor accounts receivable and payable, improve collection efficiency, negotiate payment terms, and handle disputes.

– Monitor and assist in the optimization of working capital and cost reduction efforts.

– Book closing, Monthly/Quarterly/Annually

– Ensuring day to day activity of accounts

– GST and Taxes Filing

– Coordinating with Auditors on regular basis

– Team Management

– Lead SAP/ERP implementation, ensuring the system is up to date on daily basis

– Coordinating with Plant heads to ensure smooth functioning of all activities

– Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions to support the company’s strategic growth.

Skills & Qualifications: CA/CWA – or MBA in Finance or other equivalent qualification
