This requirement is for hiring a SRA/ RA in the Index team.
Job Description:
Designation: Research Analyst/ Senior Research Analyst – Index
Experience: 3 to 5 years
Domain Experience/ skills:
– Looking for candidates who either have fixed income domain knowledge or index computation knowledge/ experience. Mutual fund product knowledge is add on
Index calculation and maintenance Index research
– Fixed income domain knowledge
– Knowledge of fixed income mutual funds (or AIF, PMS, Insurance) products
– Knowledge on passive investments
– Knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing mutual funds
– Fixed income market understanding – yield levels, key trends, market preference and market structure
– Fluency with bond and index mathematics
– Analytical inclination
– Strong oral, written and presentation skills
Good to Have skills:
– Knowledge of coding languages
Functional Responsibility/Domain Related:
– Index maintenance: Daily index computation, rebalancing, Index criteria review
– New Product development: Launch of innovative replicable indices for index funds/ETFs
– Back-testing of Index strategies
– Tracking competition and other global practices on passive investments
– Establishing process for new index computation and automation of processes
– Ensuring compliance to regulatory and other best practices
– Preparation of ad-hoc analytical reports for the purpose of senior management and/or for external agencies
Educational Qualification – Graduate/Post Graduate. Candidates pursuing CFA/FRM would be added advantage
