JOB DESCRIPTION/PROFILE – FIXED INCOME DEALER

Job description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Responsible for dealings and executing trades in the Fixed Income Markets.

– Dealing in Government Securities, SDLs, and T-bills.

– Develop and Manage relationships with Bankers, Fund Managers, Treasury Heads etc

– Assist the Desk Head with market information, analytics and other data requirements, from time to time

– Fixed Income Dealer will report to the Desk Head.

Desired Candidate Profile:

– Candidate should have relevant experience in dealing in Fixed Income instruments like Gsecs, SDLs T-bills etc.

– Should be familiar with the market functioning in government securities, State Development Loans, T-bills and other money market instruments etc.

– Should have experience in Secondary market dealings of debt and money market instruments.

– Should have hands on working knowledge of dealing systems like NDS OM, Reuters, Bloomberg.

– Should have good network of contacts with Market Participants, must be market savvy and follow market developments and economic news closely.

– Should have good command in Excel, Word, Power Point etc.

– Good Communication Skills.
