Role Overview:

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a critical leadership role in driving the financial strategy, planning, and operations of the company. This role requires an accomplished finance leader with strong strategic acumen, deep financial expertise, and a solid understanding of technology-driven businesses. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional leadership skills to partner with senior stakeholders and fuel the company’s next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

– Develop and execute the financial strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives.

– Drive financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to ensure sustainable profitability and growth.

Financial Operations & Controls:

– Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.

– Implement strong internal financial controls, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.

Tech-Enabled Finance Transformation:

– Leverage technology and automation to optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.

– Partner with technology teams to drive digital transformation initiatives across finance functions.

Strategic Leadership:

– Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, providing insights on financial performance, risk management, and strategic opportunities.

– Drive capital allocation strategies and fundraising activities, ensuring alignment with growth priorities.

Stakeholder Management:

– Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, auditors, financial institutions, and key external stakeholders.

– Partner closely with functional heads to drive cross-functional alignment and operational efficiencies.

Team Leadership:

– Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to achieve organizational goals.

– Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

– Qualified CA

– MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIM, ISB, or equivalent).

– 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles.

– Prior experience in tech-driven or fast-growing organizations is highly desirable.

– Strong expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, risk management, and compliance.

– Experience implementing technology solutions to streamline financial processes.

– Proven ability to collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders.

– Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
