Role Specifications:
Position: Sr. Credit Analyst
Department: Fixed Income and Credit Research
Reporting: Head of Credit Research
Location: Mumbai
Key Responsibilities:
Client management:
– Provide end-to-end delivery support for one of the top-20 US-based credit rating firms .
– Accurate understanding of scope of research assignments/projects.
– Meet & surpass client expectations Delivery management.
– One-to-one dedicated support to client and responsible for independent delivery of the following outputs.
– Credit rating Rating reports (medium to long form) with rating rationale, detailed industry, business, financial, credit analysis, and ratio analysis.
– Financial models/ spreadsheets.
– Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction Marketing, business development, organization development support.
– Support on collaterals and samples.
– Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content .
Educational, Experience, and Skills requirements:
– Graduate / Postgraduate / CFA / CA / MBA / CCRA / CIIA / CAIA & equivalent; CAs will be preferred.
– 5 to 8 years of credit rating / underwriting and assessment / credit / equity research experience with banks, rating agencies, sell-side/buy-side firms, and KPOs.
– Previous experience with global or Indian credit rating/assessment will be preferred.
– Sound understanding of financial statements/ ratio analysis, credit assessment of small and mid-corporates as well as industry level KPIs
– Solid writing skills plus experience with report writing and data analysis on excel.
– Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated.
