Role Overview:
– SGP is looking for a Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic and high-performing team.
– This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to deal flow generation, executive relationship management, and other business development initiatives in the private equity domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Relationship Building:
– Proactively connect and collaborate with industry professionals to expand SGP’s network.
– Establish and nurture new relationships with target companies and founders to source potential opportunities.
Deal Sourcing & Campaigns:
– Lead outreach campaigns to engage potential investment opportunities.
– Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of companies aligned with SGP’s investment criteria.
Market Research & Analysis:
– Conduct market mapping to identify new sectors, trends, and opportunities.
– Initiate and evaluate prospective investment opportunities.
Operational Support:
– Maintain accurate and updated data in internal systems (experience with Salesforce is a plus).
– Assist in creating impactful marketing and branding collateral for SGP.
Experience:
– 2+ years in business development within financial services, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking deal sourcing.
Key Skills:
– Proven track record in networking and building relationships with senior executives.
– Proficiency in creating effective marketing materials and outreach campaigns.
– Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to maintain data integrity.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
