Position: Research Analyst
Department : Investment Banking Research
Location : Mumbai
Reporting : Head of Research
ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client management:
– Should scope out the research assignments/projects independently
– Meet & surpass the client expectations
– Incorporate client feedback promptly
Delivery management:
– Meet/surpass the delivery standard set by clients
– Deliver variety of research assignments across M&A, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, and
Advisory, including information memorandums, equity/credit valuation modeling,
company tearsheets, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction
comps, M&A valuations, and news & impact analysis
– Deliver and achieve 100% client satisfaction
Marketing, business development, organization development support
– Support on collaterals and samples
– Contribute towards marketing & thought leadership content
Educational, experience, and skills requirements:
– Post-graduate/MBA/CFA/FRM with specialization in Finance from a reputed institution
– Average 5 years of prior experience in investment banking/equity research
– Need sound financial/cash flow modeling skills, presentation skills, good analytical writing skills, and specialization in multiple industries is desirable
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated
– Hands-on experience on 3rd party databases is preferred
