Overview

US Accounting

Responsibilities:

– Experience and the ability to communicate with US CPA firm and end client.

– Ability to review monthly and yearly bookkeeping/ accounting projects.

– Experienced into month end and year end closing.

– Excellent knowledge about bank and account reconciliation.

– Ability to prepare financial statements yearly and monthly basis.

– Min of 2-3 years of people management experience.

– Experienced in 940, 941 and 1099.

General Accounting:

– Maintain general ledger accounts.

– Post journal entries and adjustments accurately and timely.

– Reconcile balance sheets and bank statements.

Financial Reporting:

– Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.

– Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

– Manage the AP/AR process, including billing, collections, and payment processing.

– Ensure timely vendor payments and customer collections.

Tax Compliance:

– Prepare and file tax returns (state, federal, and local).

– Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and other US tax authorities.

– Handle sales tax filings and remittances.

Audit and Internal Controls:

– Assist with internal and external audits.

– Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Payroll Management (if applicable):

– Process payroll and ensure proper withholdings for taxes and benefits.

Financial Analysis:

– Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making.

– Prepare cash flow and profitability analyses.
