Associate/Senior Associate – Front End Investment Banking
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Execution:
– Managing all aspects of the deal process, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders and ensuring that each stage is handled with precision.
– Oversee the development of pitch books for various equity transactions. Ensure content is compelling, consistent and tailored to the specific audience (investors, clients, internal stakeholders).
– Guide the structure and flow of presentations, ensuring they are clear, persuasive and aligned with the client’s strategic goals.
– Ensure that all outputs are aligned with internal standards, addressing any issues or feedback before delivering the final version to the client.
– Provide strategic insights into financial projections, scenario analysis, and valuation metrics.
– Present the analysis done by Analyst in a meaningful way – Conduct in-depth industry research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
– Develop insights to support deal origination and client decision-making
Leadership & Team Development:
– Guide and mentor the team through all stages of pitch book development from brainstorming and idea generation to final execution
– Collaborate with Analysts and junior team members to ensure deliverables meet the highest standards.
– Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and learning.
Stakeholder Communication/Client Management:
– Provide clear updates to clients and internal stakeholders on progress, key milestones, and any strategic changes or opportunities.
– Ensure that all communication, both internal and external, is clear, concise and professional.
– Support ETL/Directors in relationship management and deal structuring
Business Development:
– Lead discussions with prospective clients, presenting the firm’s capabilities, and understanding client needs to build strong relationships. Proactively engage in business development calls and client meetings.
– Contribute to deal origination by preparing client proposals, market analyses, and engaging in idea generation.
– Maintain and build client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for both current and potential clients.
