Overview

Key Responsibilities:

– Support in the end-to-end execution of transactions, including deal origination, pitching, preparing transaction collaterals (teaser, IM, business plan, etc.), managing due diligence, and supporting in negotiation and transaction closing.

– Market research: Track market trends, evaluate segments of high transaction activity, track key developments across industries and government policies in order to identify new client opportunities.

– Business development: Reach out to potential clients and help the senior team members in pitch preparation.

– Transaction collaterals: Independently prepare teasers, detailed information memoranda and other supporting materials.

– Financial analysis: Carry out in-depth financial modelling and valuation analysis including discounted cash flow DCF, comparable companies and transactions evaluation.

– Due diligence and negotiation: Manage financial, tax, legal and other due diligences and support in negotiation of pricing and terms of the agreements.

– Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, investors, legal advisors and other third parties.

– Manage and mentor junior team members, provide guidance on preparation of presentations, valuation analysis and overall transaction execution.

– End-to-end deal execution experience would be preferred.

Qualifications:

– Education: Chartered Accountant/ CFA/ MBA/PGDM in Finance

– Experience: 4-7 years of experience in investment banking, M&A and/or PE fund raising, with a strong track record of executed deals is mandatory.
