Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our Finance and Accounts team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in NBFC accounting, with a strong understanding of loan and investment operations, as well as regulatory compliance including RBI and CIC reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage day-to-day accounting operations for NBFC activities, primarily focused on loans and investments.
– Prepare and file all RBI periodic returns accurately and in a timely manner.
– Maintain a working knowledge of RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs and ensure compliance.
– Handle CIC (Credit Information Company) reporting on a fortnightly basis.
– Prepare IND-AS compliant financial statements and coordinate with auditors during the financial year-end closing.
Requirements:
– Proven accounting experience in an NBFC environment, particularly with loan and investment portfolios.
– Experience with RBI reporting and knowledge of relevant returns.
– Familiarity with CIC reporting processes.
– Working knowledge of RBI regulations for NBFCs.
– Experience in preparing financial statements in compliance with IND-AS.
Preferred Qualifications:
– CA (Fully qualified)
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
