As a Data Management Analyst in the FICC Transformation team, you will be responsible for assisting Global Equity Analysts in linking financial uploader sheet and publishing different sector valuation files and products. You will manage BAU requests that involve internal and external queries from analysts, clients, and vendors, and maintain the Global Financial Database and MIS reporting for senior stakeholders. You will also work on an automation project requiring skills in Alteryx and UiPath.
Job Responsibilities:
– Assisting front office Junior and Senior Global Equity Analysts
– Linking analyst Equity Models to sector specific financial Uploader sheet
– Create customized financial tables (PL/CF/BS) which would be displayed on Equity Research reports
– Manage calculations in the database for sector specific data items.
– Trouble-shooting issues in the Financial Database and ensuring all models are linked and appropriately displayed
– Manage Equity Database and build Equity Research related products (Consensus/ Sector / Interactive models)
– Build Relative valuation files for different sectors (Banks, Insurance, Consumer etc.)
– Co-ordinate with vendors and clients to setup data feeds
– Writing Industry and company research reports would be value added
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
– Graduate / Post graduate degree
– 2+ years of experience in Equity Research and Financial modelling
– Advanced Excel and VBA knowledge
– Demonstrated ability to work as team player and to develop alternative solutions to complex problems
– Detail oriented with strong organization skills, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines
– Good written & spoken English communication skills
– Willing to work flexible hours, supporting a global time zone
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
– MBA in finance / CFA would be an added advantage
– Technical Skill set such as UiPath and Alteryx
