Job Summary:

A leading fintech startup is looking to hire a CA with 3-7 years of post qualification experience for the role of Finance Controller.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in handling compliance-related activities, including supporting audits, creating financial statements, managing forex transactions, etc.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing their global financial operations and driving process improvements across their international entities.

Company Profile: The Company provides financial services for NRIs in Banking and specializes in global financial strategies, including forex and treasury management.

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Designation: Finance Controller.

The selected Candidate will be responsible for the following:

– Compliance & Reporting: Manage all compliance-related activities, including supporting audits, creating financial statements, and maintaining accurate books of accounts using Zoho.

– Process Optimization: Develop and implement streamlined processes for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

– Financial Stability: Oversee working capital, cash flow, and treasury management, ensuring optimal liquidity and financial health across international operations.

– Forex & Hedging: Manage forex transactions and implement hedging strategies to minimize currency risks and protect profitability.

– Strategic Financial Support: Provide financial insights and support to leadership teams for business decision-making, contributing to the overall strategy.

– Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize financial reporting and operational efficiency.

– Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date on international financial regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that Vance adheres to the highest standards.

Requirements:

– Experience in finance and accounting, ideally with exposure to international payments, compliance, and regulatory standards.

– Strong proficiency in Zoho or similar accounting software, SQL skills for data analysis and financial reporting are preferred.

– A street-smart approach to problem-solving, with the ability to navigate complex financial challenges in a fast-paced environment.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with global stakeholders.

– Willingness to travel internationally when required to support business operations.

Education: Chartered Accountant.

Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, in Big 4 / Fintech Startup.

Work Schedule: Mon Fri.

Salary: Competitive salary package + ESOP (negotiable).
