About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced and detail oriented Finance Managers to join a private equity-backed retail business located in Kolkata. The positions open are for the roles of Manager – Business Finance and Senior Manager – Financial Reporting.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Job Description: Senior Finance Manager
Location: Kolkata, India
Qualifications:
– Chartered Accountant (CA).
– A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience within the retail, consumer goods, or a similar fast-moving environment is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities (Business Finance role):
– Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
– Develop robust financial models to support strategic initiatives.
– Prepare and present insightful variance analyses (actuals vs. budget/forecast) and performance reviews to senior management.
Key Responsibilities (Financial Reporting role):
– Oversee and manage the end-to-end preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
– Ensure timely and accurate closing of books and finalization of accounts.
– Ensure strict adherence to all statutory compliances, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other relevant financial regulations.
