About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Equity Dealer to lead the execution and optimization of equity trades for our investment portfolio. This high-impact role requires hands-on expertise in algorithmic and manual trade execution, market microstructure analysis, and end-to-end trade lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Execution & Order Management
– Execute high-frequency and block trades across exchanges
– Optimize algorithms to reduce slippage and transaction costs
– Use OMS/EMS tools for real-time order flow and liquidity tracking
Quantitative Research & Strategy
– Analyze intraday patterns, volatility, and price dynamics
– Develop alpha-generating strategies using technical and statistical models
Risk & Compliance Monitoring
– Ensure full compliance with SEBI, IRDAI, RBI, and internal policies
– Implement pre- and post-trade surveillance checks
Trade Lifecycle & Operations
– Oversee order placement to settlement
– Liaise with custodians, brokers, and clearing houses
– Maintain audit trails and reporting for audits
Cross-functional Collaboration
– Coordinate with quants, portfolio managers, compliance, and IT for systems enhancement
Key Skills & Competencies
– Expertise in SEBI/IRDAI/RBI trading regulations
– Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
– Experience with OMS/EMS platforms
– High-stress tolerance in fast-paced trading environments
– Effective communicator for cross-functional synergy
Qualification & Experience
– Bachelors or Masters in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM fields
– 5+ years of experience in equity dealing, ideally within institutional or insurance asset management
– Proficiency in English and Hindi
