Overview
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as a key member of the team focusing on special projects related to business expansions in India. Support the team by preparing projections, financial models, funding requirements, and ensuring compliance with related regulations.
– Collaborate with finance, compliance, and auditors to facilitate the transition of financial reporting from IGAAP to IND AS standards.
– Conduct system requirement studies and work closely with corporate IT teams to migrate the existing ERP system to Oracle.
– Manage the tax and compliance team, overseeing routine compliance activities including TDS, GST, Customs (MOOWR regulation applicable), POSH, ASI data, FLA filings, ECB, SEZ filings, Income tax, and transfer pricing. Provide bi-annual reports to the board.
Requirements:
– Preferably from an Internal Audit background, Project Management, or Big Four consulting experience with a focus on Ind AS compliance.
– Self-motivated and flexible with excellent leadership and English communication skills. Experience in leading high-performance teams.
– Proficient in advanced ERP systems with a strong logical understanding of ERP functionalities. Strong time management, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
– Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
