Overview
About:
– Processing all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions (stock splits, stock dividends, spin-offs, exchanges, mergers, tenders, consents, ) on global custody accounting system
– Manage Corporate Actions Escalations related to internal and external stakeholders
– Corporate action information received from vendors and other sources is accurately interpreted and recorded on the Corporate Actions Dept
– The high degree of risk inherent in corporate actions processing is identified, understood, and controlled so that financial losses due to misinterpretation of information or processing error are minimized
– Understand link between Custody / Fund Master / DTC and resolve exceptions between them
– Processing client elections / instructions on voluntary corporate actions
– Working with the design teams to ensure that the requirements are understood and that the delivered design fulfils all of the requirements adequately
– Supporting the technology teams through the build and unit test activities to ensure that all requirements are understood
– Demonstrate the ability to identify potential risk scenarios
– Implement controls to minimize operational riska. Subject matter expert in equities & fixed Income products; asset servicing / corporate Actions; settlement operations
– Deep understanding of products that support corporate action processing e.g. InfoMosaic, BaNCS
– Deep understanding of operations on end-to-end corporate actions processing and lifecycle
– Proven results on transformation of corporate actions to achieve better STP, improved efficiency, better client experience, etc
– Driven or been actively involved in technology transformation on corporate actions e.g. roll out of new IT solution, modernization of existing solution, etc
– Change management of operations and operations teams on the back of large-scale transformation
– Ability to build high-performance teams
– Excellent stakeholder management i.e. internal business and external clients
– Excellent written and oral communication
