Role – Regional Credit Head-Infra (Executive Vice President)

Reports to – Zonal Credit Head/Head of Credit

Location – BKC office , Mumbai

Team Size – 14

Direct Reportee – 3 Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Risk Management:

– Conduct in-depth credit analysis for clients in Infra segment on Pan India basis for Wholesale Banking segment of the Bank

– Assess the financial health, business viability, and creditworthiness of clients.

– Evaluate proposals, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

– Prepare and present credit proposals to the Credit Committee.

– Monitor the health of the portfolio, identifying trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Portfolio Management:

– Manage and optimize the credit portfolio. Analyze and report on portfolio performance, making recommendations for adjustments to credit strategies as necessary.

– Track and report on portfolio performance, highlighting key trends and potential risks.

Regulatory Compliance and Governance:

– Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal credit policies.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business heads, relationship managers, and external partners.

Team Leadership and Development:

– Act as the primary point of contact for all credit-related matters to the portfolio.

– Engage with senior management and the Board to provide updates on portfolio performance and risk management strategies.

– Lead, mentor, and develop a national team of credit professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.

Innovation and Process Improvement:

– Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage credit risks.

– Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.

– Drive innovation in credit risk management practices, leveraging technology and data analytics.

– Streamline credit processes to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and improve customer satisfaction.

– Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, adapting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.

Education & Experience:

– CA- or Postgraduate degree in Finance, MBA from premier institute.

– Additional certifications in credit risk management or banking will be an advantage.

– Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in credit risk management, with at least 3-4 in people management role.

– Excellent knowledge of regulators related to Infra

– Prior experience in managing Infra portfolio preferred.
