Overview
– A Cost accountant with 5 to 10 years of experience for a manufacturing company in Vellore.
– Candidate should have strong knowledge in Costing in the manufacturing sector.
– Candidate will be handling a team of two to three members and reporting to the AGM Finance.
– The job description is provided below. Candidates with prior experience in Costing in the manufacturing sector would be preferred.
– Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews of cost statements and analysis
– Review and finalize General Ledger (GL) and Trial Balance (TB)
– Oversee preparation and review of Balance Sheet schedules
– Collaborate with the Marketing team to monitor and analyze receivables
– Manage inventory valuation processes and ensure accuracy in reporting
– Ensure timely closure of books at month-end
– Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit processes
– Prepare and review Cost Audit and Tax Audit reports
– Handle quarter-end financial reporting and submissions
Please note that the job location is Vellore (Serkadu), Tamil Nadu.
The candidate will have to relocate to Vellore.
