Title: Regional Credit Head Business Banking Group (Indore)
Overview:
Lead the regional credit function for Business Banking, owning end-to-end credit underwriting quality, portfolio health, and risk governance across MSME/SME customers in the Indore region.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and mentor a team of credit managers/analysts; build strong credit culture and turnaround discipline.
– Underwrite and approve credit proposals within delegated authority; structure facilities (WC/CC/OD, TL, BG/LC) aligned to risk appetite.
– Drive portfolio quality: early warning, stress testing, exposure monitoring, and remedial action plans.
– Partner with Business/Relationship teams to enable growth with prudent risksupport deal structuring and pricing.
– Ensure policy and regulatory compliance (RBI guidelines), credit audit readiness, and documentation standards.
– Manage external interfaces: valuers, legal counsel, credit bureaus, rating agencies.
– Report regional credit MI: approvals, TAT, strike rate, sectoral exposure, delinquencies, and LGD.
– Champion digitization/analytics in underwriting and monitoring.
Qualifications & Experience:
– MBA/CA/CFAs preferred: 8 to 12+ years in Business/SME banking credit with 3 to 5 years in a leadership role.
– Strong grasp of financial analysis, cash-flow lending, collateral/DSRA structures, and legal/security documentation.
– Working knowledge of RBI norms, Basel guidelines, ECL provisioning, and IFRS/Ind-AS implications.
– Proficiency with bureau/rating outputs, banking systems, and credit analytics tools.

KPIs:
– Portfolio GNPA/NNPA, SMA/EWS containment, credit TAT, hit ratio, audit scores, loss rates/LGD, policy breaches.
