About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and commercially astute Internal Audit professional to join as Senior Manager – Internal Audit (Head -1). The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of Big 4 experience and industry exposure in manufacturing, with proven expertise in both internal audit and business finance. This is a transformative role that goes beyond controls testing, focusing on driving insights, strengthening governance, and enabling strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Risk Management

– Lead and execute risk-based internal audits across business units, plants, and functions.

– Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.

– Identify control gaps and recommend pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.

Business Finance & Commercial Acumen

– Partner with business finance teams to evaluate financial processes, working capital, and cost structures.

– Provide data-driven insights that improve profitability, efficiency, and business decision-making.

– Support cross-functional projects with an analytical and transformation-driven approach.

Stakeholder Engagement

– Collaborate closely with senior management, operations, and finance to influence process improvements.

– Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and risk awareness.

– Prepare and present clear, concise audit reports and recommendations to leadership.

Transformation & Analytics

– Use analytical tools and methodologies to deliver sharper insights in audit reviews.

– Contribute to automation and digitization initiatives within audit and finance functions.

– Act as a change agent, balancing strong governance with business enablement.

Key Requirements

– 9-12 years of experience with a blend of Big 4 audit exposure and hands-on manufacturing industry experience (mandatory).

– 1st Attempt Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with proven internal audit and business finance expertise.

– Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance governance and business priorities.

– Hands-on, adaptable, and collaborative mindset – not rigid or inflexible.

– Demonstrated ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments and deliver transformative outcomes.

– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
