Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Relationship Manager to join our Mid-Market Group (MMG) team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in corporate or commercial banking, with a strong track record in managing mid-sized corporate clients.
The role involves end-to-end relationship management, including acquisition of new clients, credit assessment, portfolio monitoring, and cross-selling of banking products. The candidate should possess strong market knowledge, credit underwriting skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market corporate clients in the Ahmedabad region.
– Acquire new clients through business development and referrals.
– Conduct credit assessments and prepare detailed credit proposals.
– Ensure timely renewals, reviews, and compliance of all portfolio accounts.
– Collaborate with internal teams (Credit, Risk, Legal) to structure and deliver tailored financial solutions.
– Monitor market trends and client performance to manage risk proactively.
– Achieve revenue targets through cross-selling of banking and financial products (trade finance, treasury, cash management, etc.).
– Build long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing strategic banking solutions.
Requirements:
– Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate/SME banking, preferably in MMG.
– Proven expertise in credit appraisal and relationship management.
– Sound understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory guidelines.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
– Strong local market knowledge of Ahmedabad and surrounding regions.
– MBA/CA or equivalent qualification in finance or banking preferred.
Location: Ahmedabad (frequent local travel may be required)
