Our Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) is being crafted to boost financial efficiency, operational agility, and scalability for better organizational support.

Youll ramp up our existing services, develop new capabilities, establish robust internal controls, and define service agreements. This role is pivotal in driving our organisations ambitious growth and efficiency goals!

Key Responsibilities

Strategic

– Responsible for the management, delivery, and performance of the FSSC organization in India; working collaboratively with Global Process Owners, other Shared Service Centres in the organisation, and Business Leaders to drive performance, efficiency, and strategic business objectives.

– Build and scale the team from 20 to over 100 employees, ensuring strong leadership and operational structure.

– Responsible for building on the strong collaborative culture.

– Develop strong working relationships with internal customers and key collaborators across the organisation.

– Complete the strategy and ensure that the FSSC strategy stays aligned with the organisations overall strategy.

Operational

– Lead the transition of finance operations from other locations to the Finance Shared Service Centre.

– Align finance processes with our target operating model and global standards.

– Improve the integration and performance of each capability delivered by the FSSC organization, accomplished through continuous improvement CI framework and instilling a CI culture.

– Define and manage the overall FSSC work standards (operational procedures and policies) and efficient methods of working.

– Ensure seamless collaboration with the other Shared Service Centres in the organisation to drive consistency and efficiency.

– Support the integration of new systems and tools to improve operational financial capabilities.

– Deliver measurable improvements in service delivery, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Risk

– Accountable for the monitoring and mitigation of all FSSC India financial and operational risks.

– Accountable for ensuring a high compliance environment, monitoring the compliance of all operations within FSSC India with the determined risk, controls, and compliance guidelines and policies.

Financial Performance Management

– Accountable for the allocation and management of the FSSC India budget as well as achieving other financial targets.

– Responsible for tracking critical metrics to evaluate FSSC India performance (such as SLAs and Reverse SLAs).

– Drive business performance and working capital for FSSC countries.

Talent & Culture

– Lead a large cross-functional team across transactional Finance with opportunity to expand scope to include controlling activities, transactional Procurement activities, BI Reporting, transactional Master data Management activities, and Service Management.

– Lead the FSSC Talent Agenda (in partnership with HR) to drive engagement, retention, career development, and performance within the FSSC India business.

– Accountable for establishing a high-performing FSSC Centre culture (e.g. continuous improvement, customer service, cost efficiency) as part of the overall organization culture.

Required Skills & Experience

– Minimum of 12 years + experience with minimum of 6 of shared services experience in a leadership role

– Proven experience leading large-scale finance operations or shared services in a multinational environment.

– Proficiency in crafting and implementing operational finance processes or improvements across multiple geographies.

– Ability to lead and grow high-performing teams through periods of transition and scale.

– Experience managing cross-functional relationships and navigating complex organizational structures.

– Familiarity with shared service centre models and transformation initiatives.

– Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
