Project Manager – Operational Risk Management
Location: Mumbai Lower Parel
Experience: 5-10 years in operational risk, incident management, third-party risks, business continuity planning, and internal controls, preferably within the financial services/consulting sector.
Education: CA, MBA, or any relevant master’s program. Preferred additional certifications include Project Management and ORM certifications.
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with expertise in Operational Risk Management to lead and manage independent projects across a wide range of operational risk areas for our clients in the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage projects focusing on operational risk management, including internal control assessments, developing SOPs and policies, third-party risk management, incident management, and business continuity.
– Prepare detailed project plans to ensure timely delivery aligned with client expectations.
– Review and validate existing frameworks, policies, and risk matrices to ensure soundness and identify control weaknesses.
– Engage proactively with client process owners and risk departments to ensure project completion and quality.
– Provide regular updates on project execution and outcomes.
– Develop and present risk dashboards and analytics to stakeholders.
– Identify and address findings that warrant discussions with Risk Management Committees.
– Prepare proposals and thought leadership documents related to operational risk management.
– Manage stakeholder engagements and oversee project management duties, including team building and mentoring.
Skills:
– Strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
– Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
– Familiarity with GRC tools such as MetricStream and SAP GRC is beneficial.
Specific Requirements:
– Travel: Long-term and short-term travel (6-12 months a year) is expected, including international travel.
– Working Days: 5 Days (Monday to Friday).
– Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 7 PM
