Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

– Develop, implement, and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans

– Analyze financial performance, provide actionable insights, and highlight variances

– Drive cost optimization strategies across departments

Accounting & Reporting:

– Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely closing of books

– Ensure accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

– Ensure statutory compliance with tax, GST, TDS, and regulatory filings

Controls & Compliance:

– Establish robust internal controls, audit trails, and risk management processes

– Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities

– Maintain compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)

Cash Flow & Treasury:

– Monitor daily cash flow and working capital requirements

– Manage banking relationships, loan negotiations, and fund allocations

Team Leadership:

– Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounts team

– Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements:

– Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory; MBA Finance is a plus

– Experience: 5-7 years in financial leadership roles; preference for candidates with experience in FMCG, D2C, or manufacturing

– Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Tally, SAP, or similar)

– Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS, Excel, and data analytics

– High integrity, strategic thinking, and operational excellence mindset

– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
