Overview

Role: Head – Insurance

Experience Required: 17-20 years

Key Responsibilities:

– Insurance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of health, liability (professional and general), life, and property insurance to support office and infrastructure needs.

– Sector Insight: Strong understanding of the insurance sector and its nuances.

– Stakeholder Management: Proven experience in managing brokers and providing client-facing insurance support.

– Expense & Liability Oversight: Expertise in managing health and liability insurance, which are key expense and risk areas.

– Annual Planning: Lead the planning, negotiation, and finalization of the annual insurance plan, including pre-renewals to support ongoing RFPs.

– SPOC for Insurance: Serve as the single point of contact for all insurance-related matters across the firm, including support to the Procurement team.

– Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete insurance lifecycle, including liability and property insurance.

– Availability: Act as a central resource for insurance at the firm level.

– Interface Coordination: Liaise with insurance companies, brokers, and clients.

– Policy Enhancement: Continuously improve and expand policy coverage in line with KPMG’s evolving needs and market opportunities.

– Claims Handling: Manage health and laptop claims, ensuring fair distribution of the corporate buffer under health insurance.

– RFP Compliance: Ensure all client RFPs are compliant with insurance clauses or negotiate as needed.

Specific Programs:

– Health Insurance: Regularly review and enhance modular programs.

– PII Insurance: Lead placement of local policies and manage global coverage.

– Cyber Insurance: Oversee global coverage and local policy placement.

– Property Insurance: Strengthen policies with additional covers and improved wordings.

– Liability Insurance: Expand and reinforce coverage.

Preferred Certifications: Licentiate, Associateship, and Fellowship (Three-tier process)
