Associate – Financial Due Diligence & Credit Analysis (LPI)
Position: Associate / Analyst
Qualification: CA / Post Graduate from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 College
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate/Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our lending and investment activities, providing critical support through financial due diligence, credit analysis, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will possess strong foundational knowledge in financial statement analysis, corporate finance, and accounting, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Due Diligence & Analysis:
– Conduct comprehensive due diligence on borrower groups, including rigorous analysis of historical financial statements.
– Validate and challenge management’s financial projections by incorporating industry trends, competitive positioning, and macroeconomic factors.
– Prepare detailed investment memos, teasers, and pitchbooks to support deal origination and decision-making.
Portfolio Management & Trade Support:
– Manage the ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of executed trades and lending deals.
– Track all necessary documentation, covenant compliance, and key life-cycle events.
– Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for traders and senior management.
– Respond to ad-hoc queries related to executed trades and portfolio performance.
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication:
– Act as a key liaison with internal control functions including Credit Risk Management (CRM), Legal, Compliance, and Finance.
– Monitor and disseminate relevant macro-economic and industry-specific news to the broader team.
– Ensure clear and proactive communication across multicultural teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory:
– Chartered Accountant (CA) or Post Graduate degree from a recognized Tier-1 or Tier-2 institution.
– 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Due Diligence, M&A, Valuation, or Credit Diligence for corporate lending (including real estate) within a bank or finance company.
– Exceptional financial statement analysis skills, with a strong grasp of financial reporting, accounting, and corporate finance principles.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
– Outstanding oral and written communication skills in English.
– Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive, with a proven ability to prioritize workload and manage time efficiently.

– Progress towards the CFA designation (Level I or II) is highly desirable.
