Audit – WSB/SME/ Treasury

Location: Mumbai (Andheri)

Job Description:

1. Perform detailed audit and evaluation of internal controls for Wholesale Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and Risk Management areas and comment on compliance.

2. Consult in various initiatives of Risk / Compliance / Business Teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Audit Planning and Execution:

– Develop and manage the audit plan for WSB, SME, Treasury, aligning with departmental objectives and risk assessments.

– Assign and oversee the execution of audits, ensuring adherence to internal audit standards and methodologies.

– Review and provide constructive feedback on audit working papers, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.

– Monitor and track the implementation of audit recommendations, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.

– Identify and manage risks associated with audits, preparation of audit plan including resource capacity such as workload adjustments or upskilling initiatives.

2. Credit Risk Management and Market Risk:

– Evaluate the organization’s credit risk and market risk management framework.

3. Loan underwriting and Credit Administration:

– Assess the effectiveness of credit administration processes.

4. RBS Tranche testing for Credit, Treasury and Trade Finance.

5. Audit execution:

– Carry out and oversee spot audit of dealing room in adherence to ICG guidelines, NPI/NPA review, review of treasury expenses, vendor expenses, GL account review.

– Perform and oversee management audits of the respective verticals planned for the year.

6. Performance evaluation and self-development:

– Stay updated on relevant regulations, industry best practices, and internal audit standards.

– Evaluate the performance of team members so as to assist them improve their performance.

Qualifications:

– CA / MBA / CMA with at least 10 to 15 years of Internal Audit experience.
