This is regarding opening with a leading Pvt Bank as an AVP/DVP – FEMA Compliance
Designation : VP – FEMA Compliance AVP/DVP – FEMA Compliance
Experience : CA/CS/MBA with prior relevant compliance experience > 8 years .
Should carry a good understanding of FEMA regulations, banking products and processes.
Job Role:
Regulatory Advisory & Control Framework:
Support the Business Group by providing detailed and accurate advisory services, ensuring implementation of effective control frameworks for compliance with RBI regulations related to FEMA – Capital and Current Account transactions. Act as a back-up for FEMA-Retail Products compliance.
Product & Policy Review:
Partner with relevant stakeholders to implement new regulatory requirements, review new and variant products, policies, and processes, and provide compliance advisory on applicable FEMA and RBI guidelines.
Regulatory Correspondence & Follow-up:
Review letters and correspondence on regulatory matters to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely follow-ups with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with compliance peers on critical compliance projects and group-wide initiatives to strengthen regulatory governance.
Escalation Management:
Promptly identify and escalate key compliance risks or matters of concern to the Vertical Lead and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
