CFO – Top Financial Services Firm (10-18 yrs)

Seeking a dynamic, strategic, and execution-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join the executive leadership team. The ideal candidate will come from an Investment Banking background and is looking to pivot into an industry leadership role that allows for deeper operational involvement and impact. This is a high-visibility, high-impact position responsible for shaping the financial strategy, driving capital allocation, ensuring financial compliance, and supporting the firm’s growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance & Capital Planning

– Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and modeling aligned with business goals

– Advise the CEO and Board on capital structure, fundraising, and M&A opportunities

– Drive ROI analysis on new initiatives, markets, and product launches

Corporate Development & Investor Relations

– Lead M&A and strategic investment initiatives end-to-end: deal origination, valuation, due diligence, structuring, and integration

– Manage investor relationships, pitch book creation, fundraising rounds, and communication strategies

Financial Management & Governance

– Oversee budgeting, cash flow, risk management, and treasury operations

– Ensure compliance with financial regulations, taxation, audits, and statutory reporting

– Optimize internal controls, processes, and systems to ensure efficiency and transparency

Team Leadership

– Build and lead a high-performing finance team across FP&A, controllership, treasury, tax, and investor relations

– Foster a performance-driven culture aligned with company values and strategic goals

Experience Required

– 10+ years of experience, with significant tenure in investment banking, corporate finance, or private equity

– Strong deal-making, capital raising, and M&A execution experience; exposure to Indian financial services deals preferred

– Proven ability to engage with boards, investors, and senior leadership

– Hands-on financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis skills

– Track record of transitioning into (or advising) operational finance/CFO roles is a plus

– Deep understanding of the Indian regulatory, tax, and financial landscape

– Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
