Key Responsibilities:


– Oversee and direct all aspects of the company’s financial and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.

– Formulate and implement financial strategies to support organizational objectives and long-term business plans.

– Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.

– Manage treasury operations, fund flow, and working capital requirements effectively.

– Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax laws, FEMA, and other financial regulations.

– Drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure efficient vendor management to enhance profitability.

– Monitor key financial metrics, assess business risks, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.

– Lead, develop, and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth.

– Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

– Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.

– Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with significant exposure to the logistics, shipping, or container industry.

– Strong technical expertise in Income Tax, Service Tax, FEMA Regulations, DTAA, and Freight

Tax.

– Proven track record of strategic financial management and leadership in a complex business environment.

– Excellent people management, analytical, and communication skills.

– Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
