Overview

We are hiring a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a manufacturing organization. The role is based in a tier-2 city and will oversee the financial strategy and operations across multiple manufacturing units.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance & Leadership:

– Drive financial strategy and business planning in alignment with the organization’s growth and expansion objectives.

– Partner with the promoters and executive leadership team to deliver strategic insights and decision support.

– Lead M&A evaluations, due diligence, and integration activities.

Factory & Plant Finance:

– Ensure sound financial operations across all manufacturing units.

– Monitor and control plant-level budgeting, costing, inventory, and working capital.

– Lead standard costing, cost control, and performance improvement initiatives.

Treasury & Banking:

– Manage banking relationships and lead treasury operations including working capital funding, cash flow management, and credit line optimization.

– Negotiate with financial institutions for fund and non-fund-based facilities.

Governance, Compliance & Controls:

– Establish robust internal control systems and processes.

– Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and audit requirements.

– Manage financial reporting in alignment with regulatory and internal standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

– Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA)

– Experience: 15-30 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within manufacturing setups.

– Proven track record of working in promoter-driven companies.

– Strong experience in multi-unit operations within auto or process manufacturing industries.

– Exposure to treasury, M&A, and capex planning is essential.

– High adaptability to operate in a tier-2 city with a hands-on approach.
