Overview

We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to lead investment and growth strategies, with a particular focus on M&A and capital deployment across our core industries. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in investment banking or corporate development, with a strong track record in managing complex transactions in sectors such as consumer goods, industrials, manufacturing, or diversified businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design and lead investment strategy across existing and new business verticals in line with the organization’s long-term objectives

– Lead the end-to-end M&A process-from deal origination to post-merger integration-across target sectors

– Conduct deep-dive market analysis, target evaluation, business modeling, and risk assessment for investment opportunities

– Develop strong pipelines through relationships with investment banks, advisors, and industry players

– Structure and negotiate complex deals including buyouts, minority investments, and strategic acquisitions

– Oversee financial modeling, return analysis, capital allocation, and valuation across potential and existing portfolio companies

– Work closely with the strategy, legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure cohesive execution and integration

– Monitor and optimize performance of the investment portfolio with a focus on long-term value creation

– Provide strategic insights and regular reporting to the Board and executive stakeholders on deal flow and market dynamics

Required Qualifications:

– 12+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate M&A with sector exposure

– Strong track record of closing complex M&A deals across relevant industries

– Deep understanding of valuation, deal structuring, due diligence, and financial modeling

– Experience managing cross-border transactions is an advantage

– MBA from a top-tier business school or CFA charterholder preferred
