Overview
The potential candidate should have a substantial experience in retail asset operations, preferably in home finance/mortgages. A deep understanding of financial services across banks and NBFCs is critical for this role. Leadership and team building skills, a drive for innovation and an impeccable integrity and humble nature are qualities that will differentiate the successful candidate.

A total of over a hundred people will report into the COO, either directly, or indirectly.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Supporting the CEO in business decisions to drive business deliverables. Growth in sales will be the primary responsibility of the COO.
2. Setting up the entire operations architecture, including branch level and central processes across the HFC
3. Introducing and implementing best practices from across the Industry in the Credit Underwriting area through the team
4. Ensuring effective and efficient processing within TAT as per service expectations through the Operations team
5. Interacting closely with IT/Product/Finance and other stakeholders and aligning deliveries accordingly
6. Working closely with technology team to drive efficiency and building consistency in processes
7. Managing critical project for implementation of LOS/LMS, other technology enablement for the operating model of the HFC
8. Building a team ground up for local operations and processing centres in line with business objectives
9. Reviewing and approving additional processes and any deviations, managing process documentation
10. Defining operational and control requirements at all levels of operations
Requirements:
The candidate must have experience in mortgage finance/ housing finance operations at a mid to large sized company, with the last 5 years in a leadership position.
