Position – Senior Consultant : Credit Risk
Job Summary :
– We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk consultant to join our team in Mumbai. A successful candidate will have a strong background in credit risk. Understanding of other crucial risks such as Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk will be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work on credit risk consulting offerings, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Capital computation, model development and validation, credit policy and process, and risk appetite statements.
– Provide expertise in credit risk assessment, measurement, and management to clients in the banking and financial services industry.
– Provide key support in other risk areas, including Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.
– Develop and maintain credit risk models, including probability of default (PD), loss given default (LGD), and exposure at default (EAD) models.
– Validate credit risk models and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Collaborate with clients to develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures.
Requirements:
– A graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics) OR MBA from a Tier II or III college, CFA, or FRM certification is beneficial.
– Able to analyze financial templates/ CMA and understand key financial ratios for credit underwriting.
– Understanding the corporate credit underwriting process and understanding of corporate banking products.
– At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the risk domain.
– Familiarity with credit risk concepts, including ECL, Capital computation, and credit risk modeling, Credit Policy and Process Review.
– Familiarity with Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
