Job Description:
– Should have experience in equity research (Buy side/sell side) of about 6-8 years specifically into Indian Pharma Sector.
– Should have passion for investing in equity markets with proactive approach & eye for details having mix of top down and bottoms up approach to investing.
– Should be Able to do Industry Analysis to understand competitive forces, industry dynamics etc.
– Should be Able to do company analysis including financial modelling, tracking quarterly/annual results, attending earning concalls, deep dive into annual reports (forensic deep dive) etc.
– Generating ideation funnel for new investment ideas under Company’s Investment framework.
– Interacting with industry/sector experts, channel checks, sell side, managements of companies etc.
– Enable Investment Committee in decision making of investee companies and new investment ideas.
Qualifications & Experience:
– CA/ MBA (Finance) from a Tier I/Tier II institutions.
– 6 to 8 years of experience in PMS, AIF, MF, Portfolio management, investment managements.
– Expertise in value investing is essential.
– Prior experience of tracking multiple sectors is preferable.
– Must possess and demonstrate strong critical thinking, analytical, research, communication, and writing abilities.
