Overview

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

– Manage end-to-end accounting operations: Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition.

– Oversee day-to-day financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

– Lead the month-end and year-end financial close process.

– Prepare financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Policies, Processes & Controls

– Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, SOPs, and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.

– Streamline and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls for efficiency and

effectiveness.

– Research and apply technical accounting standards (IND AS, IFRS) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

– Deliver detailed financial reports and MIS dashboards for stakeholders and management.

– Analyse financial data to monitor expenditures, assess performance, and forecast revenues.

– Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis aligned with strategic goals.

– Support data-driven decision-making through financial modelling and scenario planning.

Compliance & Audit

– Ensure compliance with local, state, and central government regulations, including direct and indirect taxation.

– Manage statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.

– Coordinate internal, statutory, and external audits; resolve audit findings promptly.

Strategic Finance & Risk Management

– Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.

– Formulate and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term company goals.

– Manage capital structure: private equity, ECB loans, NCDs, and international financing sources.

– Provide strategic inputs for investment decisions, cost optimization, and capital allocation.

Leadership & Collaboration

– Lead functions: Finance, Accounts, MIS, and Taxation.

– Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial and business goals.

– Handle additional controllership responsibilities as needed.
