Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic finance leader to join our leadership team and drive the financial strategy, planning, and operations for a fast-growing consumer brand. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of financial controls, fundraising, unit economics, and business partnering to enable sustainable and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Strategy
– Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning in alignment with business goals.
– Build and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
– Provide regular business performance reviews to founders and board/investors.
2. Business Finance & Commercial Decision Support
– Partner with category, growth, and supply chain teams to drive profitability and cost optimization.
– Track and improve unit economics across online and offline channels.
– Analyze ROI on marketing, discounts, CAC, LTV, and product-level margins.
3. Accounting, Compliance & Controls
– Oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, audits, and internal controls.
– Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST filings, and statutory norms.
– Manage working capital, receivables, inventory accounting, and vendor payments.
4. Fundraising & Investor Relations
– Support fundraising activities, including data rooms, financial due diligence, and investor decks.
– Act as the point of contact for existing and potential investors, reporting financial performance and metrics.
5. Team & Systems
– Lead, mentor, and grow a lean finance and accounts team.
– Drive implementation of scalable finance systems, ERPs, dashboards, and automation tools
