Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Leadership:

– Develop and articulate a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.

– Collaborate with Co-Founders and senior leadership to create a financial roadmap that supports scalability, profitability and investor appeal.

– Drive business development initiatives by aligning financial strategies with sales, operations and R&D to support market expansion and revenue growth.

– Establish and maintain robust corporate governance frameworks, ensuring transparency,

accountability and alignment with stakeholder expectations.

Cash Flow and Treasury Management:

– Oversee cash flow management, ensuring liquidity for operations and growth initiatives while optimizing working capital.

– Develop strategies for efficient cash utilization, including forecasting, budgeting and investment decisions.

– Manage banking relationships and treasury functions to support financial stability.

P&L and Operations Management:

– Take full ownership of Profit & Loss (P&L) for the organization, driving revenue growth, cost optimization and margin expansion.

– Partner with operations, sales and supply chain teams to align financial strategies with business operations, ensuring cost efficiencies and scalability.

– Lead process redesign initiatives to achieve significant cost reductions, enhance operational efficiencies and improve financial performance.

– Foster strategic cross-enterprise alliances with financial institutions, government bodies and industry partners to enhance funding opportunities and market reach.

Investor Relations and Fundraising:

– Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, presenting financial performance, growth potential and strategic vision in a compelling and transparent manner.

– Lead fundraising efforts, exploring venture capital, private equity, strategic partnerships and other funding sources to fuel expansion.

– Negotiate investment terms, equity stakes and valuation with investors, ensuring favourable outcomes while protecting company interests.

Financial Risk Management and Compliance:

– Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks, including market, operational and regulatory risks, to ensure business continuity.

– Implement robust internal controls, audit processes and governance frameworks to safeguard financial assets and ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS and other regulations.

– Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to anticipate financial challenges and adjust strategies accordingly.

Due Diligence and Financial Reporting:

– Oversee the preparation of accurate, transparent and timely financial statements and reports

for internal and external stakeholders.

– Lead due diligence processes for fundraising, M&A or IPO activities, ensuring all financial documentation is complete and compliant.

– Maintain high standards of financial reporting integrity to build trust with investors, regulators and stakeholders.

Government Incentive Schemes:

– Identify, evaluate and secure government incentive schemes, subsidies and grants applicable to 100% Made-In-India portfolio and manufacturing operations.

– Liaise with government bodies and industry associations to maximize benefits under schemes like PLI (Production Linked Incentive) for electronics and other relevant programs.

– Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements tied to government incentives.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

– Lead the development of financial projections, including revenue forecasts, expense budgets, cash flow models and capital expenditure plans.

– Conduct in-depth financial analysis to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track financial health and identify opportunities for optimization.

– Provide actionable insights to Co-Founders and leadership to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.

IPO Preparation and Execution:

– Spearhead the companys preparation for an Initial Public Offering, including financial structuring, regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination.

– Work with legal, audit and advisory teams to ensure readiness for IPO processes, including due diligence, prospectus development and roadshows.

– Leverage prior IPO experience to guide through listing requirements and post-IPO financial

management.

Team Leadership and Development:

– Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and results.

– Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.

– Encourage cross-functional collaboration between finance and other departments (e.g., sales, operations, R&D) to drive integrated business outcomes.

Relevant Experience:

– Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership, including 5+ years in a CFO or equivalent role.

– MBA or ICWA qualification is an added advantage.

– Proven experience in consumer tech, electronics or D2C start-ups, with a strong business

orientation and P&L management expertise.

– Demonstrated success in leading or supporting an Initial Public Offering (IPO), including pre-IPO preparation and post-IPO financial management.

– Hands-on experience with government incentive schemes (e.g., PLI, export incentives) in the Indian manufacturing or electronics sector.

– Strong track record in fundraising, with expertise in engaging venture capital, private equity or strategic investors.

– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent externally to investors, regulators and government bodies.

– Experience in building scalable financial operations and driving hyper-growth (e.g., 10x to 100x revenue scaling) in start-up environments.

– Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, financial modelling and KPI-based performance tracking.
