Overview
Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with a strong background in GST compliance and departmental assessments. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience and should preferably be at the Manager or Senior Manager level. This role involves end-to-end responsibility for GST-related functions, including compliance, audits, reconciliations, advisory, and litigation support.
Job description:
1. Managing all aspects of GST filings
2. Handling GST audits and departmental assessments
3. Advising on GST implications of business transactions
4. Managing reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B, GSTR-3B vs GSTR-1)
5. Assisting in GST litigation, replies to notices, and representation before tax authorities (These Key Responsibilities are illustrative; The incumbent will be required to perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management from time to time.)
Key Skills:
– Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
– In-depth knowledge of GST law, rules, and procedural aspects.
– Prior experience in managing GST audits, assessments, and litigation is essential.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
Experience:
– 5 Years post CA of Experience at Manager/Sr. Manager level in a corporate or consulting environment.
– Proficiency in GST software/tools and MS Excel.
– Exposure to other indirect tax laws is an added advantage
