Overview

The role of the candidate will entail the following –

1. Take responsibility for budgeting, and financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy and business objectives.

2. Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as well as reporting for the same.

3. Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.

4. Providing thought leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team.

5. Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.

6. Advising on long-term business and financial planning.

7. Establish and strengthen the system of Management Information by understanding the Business. It should facilitate conversation across Business Heads on Financials of Business Segment, Project Profitability, Cost views by multiple Business Variables.

8. Understand, Evaluate and Drive Business Case analysis to ensure the decisions made are financially optimised and ensures good Return on Investment.

9. Drive Growth agenda of the organisation by partnering Business Development team in various analysis like addressable market, Competition landscape, Region/ Product profitability, Pursuit solutioning and commercials, Pricing Templates, etc.

10. Provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets.

11. Keep abreast of financing and investment transactions / M&A’s in the industry to create market comparable. Support due diligence activity by identifying external agencies for tax and legal DD, where required, negotiate terms of appointment after necessary budgetary approvals. Coordinate with advisors during tax and legal DD and report the results including risks involved to the CEO. Ensure that all regulatory and compliance requirements are met, and requisite approvals are obtained for cross-border and domestic deals.

12. Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.

13. Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, management team, and rest of company.

14. Establish and drive appropriate forecasting models and collaborate with Business Teams to identify the risks and Opportunities towards Financial Objectives and present rolling forecast to the Leadership team and Board of Directors.
