Job Description:
Strategic Finance & Financial Modeling:
– Take full ownership of the company’s financial model, covering revenue projections from both licenses and services.
– Prepare and share monthly and quarterly MIS reports with over 8 investors.
– Collaborate closely with founders and senior leadership to shape the company’s valuation story and fundraising strategy for future rounds.
Product Pricing & Margin Optimization:
– Develop a deep understanding of the platforms pricing structure (e.g., GB/day, per node, number of agents).
– Monitor key metrics like gross margins, discounts, and net revenue retention.
– Recommend pricing updates based on usage data, cost benchmarks, and market trends.
Services Costing & Profitability Analysis:
– Build detailed cost models for services teams, including implementation, SRE, and expert services.
– Evaluate the profitability of various services engagements.
– Help design scalable service offerings that align with and support license growth.
Company-Wide Cost Planning & Efficiency:
– Lead cost forecasting and planning across all departments engineering, sales, customer success, and more.
– Monitor cash burn, manage working capital, and ensure hiring aligns with revenue generation goals.
– Drive initiatives that improve cross-functional efficiency and operational leverage.
Finance Operations & Compliance:
– Oversee core finance operations including bookkeeping, audits, payroll, and taxation (in partnership with internal or external teams).
– Ensure timely compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (MCA, income tax, GST, etc.).
Investor Relations & Fundraising Support:
– Work hand-in-hand with the CEO and founders to craft compelling investor updates, board presentations, and manage data rooms.
– Play an active role in investor conversations, due diligence, and valuation discussions.
– Align capital planning with long-term growth and business strategy.
