The Opportunity
As the Head – Corporate Finance, you will lead all strategic finance initiatives including mergers & acquisitions (M&A), deal structuring, fundraising, and investor relations. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep financial acumen, strategic thinking, and experience in managing high-stakes financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or an MBA from a Tier-I business school with experience in investment banking, consulting, or leading finance roles in industry or family offices.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
– Develop and execute fundraising strategies across equity, debt, and hybrid instruments.
– Build and manage relationships with investors, financial institutions, and strategic partners.
– Provide strategic input on capital allocation, financial structuring, and investment decisions.
– Conduct detailed financial due diligence, valuation, and scenario analysis for deals and investments.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with business growth objectives.
– Drive corporate development initiatives including joint ventures, strategic alliances, and inorganic growth opportunities.
– Lead financial modeling and board-level presentations to support decision-making.
– Ensure robust governance and compliance across transactions and financial reporting related to investments.
Qualifications:
– CA or MBA (Finance) from a Tier-I business school is mandatory.
– 8-12 years of total experience across investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or family office environments.
– Proven experience in M&A, deal structuring, fundraising, and investor management.
– Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
– Experience in high-growth, dynamic environments with exposure to global investors and transactions.
– Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work closely with senior leadership.
