Overview
In this role you will be responsible to:
– Provide leadership, review and governance for the day to day delivery of team responsibilities on F&A operations to the various lines of Business.
– Maintain high level of connect and engagement with the Line of businesses and business partners across the globe
– The primary responsibility will be overseeing the month/quarter/year end close, co-ordination with auditors on statutory as well as management accounts, intercompany reconciliations and related reporting requirement
– Prepare and review annual financials as per financial reporting standards and ensure reporting as prescribed accounting standards within due timelines
– Drive quality month-end accounting closure process with agreed timelines
– Ensure all the sub-functions of finance are engaged collaboratively to ensure accounts are maintained current and clean.
– Preparation and reporting of annual financials as per applicable GAAP to central entities and interacting with Group’s finance controllers for consolidation purposes
– Hands-on experience in areas of financial control / reconciliation / intercompany accounting with similar organizations.
Requirements for this role include:
– Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15 to 20 years of work experience
– Experience of running/ heading Financial management processes in a Shared Services Center is mandatory
– Core accounting experience in P2P, R2R, O2C preferred
– Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders, building consensus and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization; proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders and other leaders across various lines of business.
– Technical know-how in MS Office Suite / Work experience in SAP S4 HANA ERP is an added advantage
– Resource planning, recruitment and training, performance measurement, knowledge sharing and innovation
