About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead our finance function and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of our organization and potentially grow into the CFO position.
Responsibilities:
– Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts.
– Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
– Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and manage tax filings.
– Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, bank relationships, and treasury operations.
– Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
– Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal control systems.
– Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
– Bank and Financial Institutions: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, securing necessary financing and credit facilities.
– Import/Export Operations: Oversee import and export operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and minimizing costs.
ERP Implementation & Management:
– Lead and manage the implementation of ERP systems.
Stakeholder Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
– Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.
– Minimum 10 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
– Strong understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local GAAP.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
– A strategic mindset and the ability to think long-term.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills is must.
