Job Description:
Responsibilities:
– Financial Reporting: Oversee and manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
– FP&A & MIS: Lead Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy. Develop and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) for continuous performance tracking.
– Audit Coordination: Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, ensuring all financial practices are in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements. – SOPs & Internal Controls: Establish and enforce robust internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
– Tax & Statutory Compliance: Oversee Direct Tax (DT) and Indirect Tax (IDT) compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings. Handle all statutory and regulatory filings to optimize tax positions.
– Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Lead cash flow forecasting and management, ensuring liquidity for day-to-day operations. Optimize working capital to support business operations and growth.
– Business Finance: Collaborate with the business leadership team to provide financial insights that drive decision-making and profitability within the manufacturing unit.
Key Requirements:
– Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-8 years of experience in finance, specifically in manufacturing settings. Floor experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.
– Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax (Direct and Indirect), audit processes, and internal controls.
– Skills: Proficient in cash flow management, working capital optimization, FP&A, and business finance strategy.
