Job Description:
Strategic Financial Management:
– Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
– Lead long-term financial planning and risk management initiatives.
– Ensure effective financial decision-making to support business growth.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
– Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
– Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
– Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with company goals and market conditions.
– Conduct financial forecasting to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
– Monitor and report on budget performance, addressing any variances.
Compliance and Risk Management:
– Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
– Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
– Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
Contract Management:
– Oversee contracts with Clients & Vendors.
– Identify & implement risk management measures in consultation.
Tax Compliance:
– Oversee all aspects of tax compliance, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
– Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, income tax returns, and other mandatory filings.
– Manage tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues or disputes.
– Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Investment and Capital Management:
– Manage the company’s investment portfolio and make strategic investment decisions.
– Oversee capital structure and funding strategies to support business operations.
Cost Control and Efficiency:
– Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
– Implement process improvements and financial controls to enhance profitability.
– Monitor and manage operational expenses to ensure financial sustainability.
Team Leadership and Development:
– Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
– Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives and initiatives.
– Ensure the finance team remains up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Stakeholder Communication:
– Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the seniors.
– Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with investors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
– Communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
