Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

– Lead preparation and finalization of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS, Companies Act, and SEBI (LODR) regulations.

– Own the end-to-end process of monthly/quarterly closure of books in coordination with business finance and accounting teams.

– Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial disclosures across all reporting formats including board decks, investor presentations, and press releases.

Consolidation:

– Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group, including domestic and international subsidiaries, JVs, and associates as per Ind-AS 110 and related standards.

– Manage intercompany eliminations, non-controlling interests, and foreign currency translations.

– Develop and maintain robust consolidation processes and checklists using ERP and consolidation tools (e.g., SAP BPC, Hyperion, etc.).

Audit & Compliance:

– Liaise with statutory auditors to ensure timely completion of audits with clean audit reports.

– Ensure full compliance with SEBI LODR regulations, Companies Act disclosures, and other regulatory filing requirements (including XBRL, MCA, etc.).

– Manage quarterly limited reviews, annual statutory audits, and internal control reporting (ICFR/SOX if applicable).

Policy & Controls:

– Drive implementation and regular update of accounting policies in line with evolving Ind-AS/IFRS and global best practices.

– Ensure strong internal financial controls and identify improvement areas for process automation and accuracy.

Stakeholder Management:

– Act as the key point of contact for auditors, Board/Audit Committee members, regulators, rating agencies, and investors for financial reporting matters.

– Coordinate with legal, secretarial, taxation, and investor relations teams to ensure reporting alignment.
