Overview

Role Summary:

The Head – Process Compliance & Financial Controls will lead the end-to-end validation of financial and commercial processes across the bioenergy business. This strategic role ensures operational processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with financial governance frameworks. It plays a critical role in driving standardization, scalability, and integrity across core functions such as production, logistics, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

– Process Validation: Lead financial and commercial validation of operational processes to ensure alignment with internal controls, cost efficiency, and regulatory requirements.

– Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, accounting standards, and external regulatory norms.

– Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with operations, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to assess process performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvement initiatives.

– Framework Development: Design and implement robust process validation frameworks for both new and existing business operations to uphold commercial integrity and control.

– Financial Monitoring: Track key financial metrics and ensure accurate, timely reporting of validated processes.

– Audit Support: Ensure documentation readiness and compliance to facilitate smooth internal and external audits.

– Risk & Insight Generation: Provide actionable recommendations for risk mitigation, cost optimization, and improved governance practices.

Looking for:

– Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance.

– Experience: 15-20 years of experience in operational finance or related roles, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors.

– Expertise: Strong grasp of financial controls, process audit frameworks, commercial validation, and regulatory compliance.
